Disabled service-connected veterans got a 3.6% increase for 2012. Monthly compensation for 100%, or total and permanent, is $2,769.
This is still not enough. Gas prices have skyrocketed, and everything else has gone up. A new generation of disabled vets is returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. How will these men survive? They face a bleak future without help from the federal government. Some may be on the street with no food and no job. Legislation needs to be introduced in Congress that will increase the amount of money awarded to disabled veterans.

The United States has a very long history, dating from the American Revolution, of ignoring its veterans. Is it any surprise that the same government which stirred the US in a patriotic fevor following 9-11 and led America to war, had convieniently forgot the very men and women who fought its battles?
IMHO any politican who supported the war but refused to honor its vets is a hypocrit and a traitor.
Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

Indeed, the gay government flucks veterans as well as its citizens. ALSO, WHAT IS UP WITH REAL ESTATE? WHY IS THERE NO AGENCY MONITORING LANDLORDS AND PUNISHING THEM FOR RAPING AMERICAN CITIZENS? REAL ESTATE VALUES DECLINE, YET RENTS GO UP? WHAT THE FLUCK!
