No, I'm saying that they should have fixed the error right away instead of allowing the "misconception" to linger for years. You're not going to convince me that Obama didn't know about it, because it was about HIM after all. It all goes to Obama playing fast and loose with his life narrative, changing it when it suits him. Much like his position on gay marriage, or his allegience to Jeremiah Wright.

I repeat: how would you have them "fix the error". Once you've printed your run and distributed them, how are you going to fix something like that? Answer damn it, instead of vaguely accusing them of not fixing it.

It was a promotional booklet for authors Hadit, not some official document that millions of people were going to see. When mistakes are made in promotional booklets, unless someone is going to get sued over them, there is no economic incentive to pursue factual errors. Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency, which lists Obama as one of its current clients.
