Because he is imaginary.
We all know the Biblical mythology about how Yahweh made a covenant with a particular tribe and since they failed to meet his expectations, they anticipated a messiah to sort things out with Yahweh so they can continue with the deal. But then they killed the messiah. So they await for another one of some sort. Meanwhile, innocent Dandilions who, according to Genesis were made in a day, and never did anything to anyone are being persecuted by radiation. The radiation is real though. Can mankind be Dandilions' savior even while being the cause of the affliction?
Because he is imaginary.

yea. you'd almost think 'god' and 'messiah' were metaphors for humankind...
