How about a NWS forum but with specific rules. Like no pictures of yourself or fellow members.

I'd be OK with a NWS forum, but not with anything 'pornographic' in nature. I don't want to have to worry about age monitoring/liability.

The political forums are a cesspool, IMO. It turns into the same old argument every thread it seems.
"You're a liberal. Bad."
"You're a conservative. Bad."
And on....and on.....and on.
The other forums need some life breathed into them somehow. New DL's would be a start.
A problem I'm seeing is that few people post outside of the political forums anymore. Maybe if new threads were introduced in the other forums it would bring back those who are uninterested or tired of politics.

Change the timing on "searches". If we want to view New Posts, find nothing there, then switch to View Forum Posts by a particular member, we have to wait 30 seconds. Why?
I'd love to see more of the archives brought back...
