Our recovery is really chapping you guys' hides, isn't it? Makes you wish you'd finished the country off when you had a chance, eh?

It is difficult for any decent person to sit back and not comment on the anti-Semitism,racism ,sexism ,and all-around ignorance espoused on the majority of DA's posts,it's fucking sad when one gets a warning for simply being a decent person.

What recovery? All I see is a government that's doing everything it can to create an environment that's anti-business.

Or cutting taxes then borrowing like crazy to pay our operating expenses like it would never need to be paid back. That was quite a unique financial plan.

And he should blame Clinton. Clinton deregulated banking and used ACORN and the DOJ to intimidate banks into lowering lending criteria. Then liberals in congress used Fannie and Freddie to suck up the garbage loans.

Yeah. Lenders should be able to red-line specific ZIP codes because, you know, a lot of "them" live there. That's more efficient that having to vet every application based on the borrower's ability to pay.

I see trillions borrowed by Obama to pay for lots of spending and no results. It's time to cut operating expenses drastically, and that means entitlements.

President Barack Obama campaigned in 2008 on tax cuts for most Americans and tax increases for the fortunate few. He has delivered on the breaks and, for the most part, been unable to follow through on attempts to raise taxes.

Obama turned his call for middle-income tax breaks into law within a month of taking office, incorporating a $400-a-person tax credit for workers into the 2009 stimulus law. In late 2010, with the economy still weak and Republicans gaining political clout, Obama agreed to an $858 billion tax cut that extended all of the George W. Bush-era tax cuts for two years.
Quite a unique financial plan by Obama.

In other words you're little social experiment went horribly wrong.

Reagan legitimized the practice. It's going to be hard to put that genie back into the bottle but we must, and raising taxes up to responsible levels, starting at the top, is the only way we're going to regain our financial footing.

It sure would be nice if we could correct all the malfeasance we've suffered by economic and fiscal mismanagement over the past 30 years with a snap of the fingers, but that simply isn't possible. It will be accomplished, despite the best efforts of the Anti-Obama Party, but the longer it takes the more it will hurt, unnecessarily.

"Other words" should really be related to whatever you're quoting rather than just soapboxing.

Post-1990s is not post-1990's, Mr ESL.

But since that's impossible and never going to happen, it's imbecilic to keep mentioning it.

They are related, you just don't like it. Liberals wanted to give minorities and people without access to credit the opportunity to buy a house. They forced banks to provide loans that required no money down, had adjustable rates, no income verification, etc. All well and good until people realize they have nothing to lose by defaulting. Like I said - you're little social experiment went horribly wrong.
