Mel Gibson In Another Anti-Semitic Controversy

Screenwiter Joe Esterhas has accused Mel Gibson of constantly using anti-Semitic slurs like "Hebes" and "Jew-boy",has called the Holocaust "horseshit",saying John Lennon "deserved to be shot" ,saying Walter Cronkite "appealed to stupid people" and cosntantly threated the life of his ex-girlfriend.

To be fair, Esterhas has his own incredible history,and it's his word against Gibson's(though he has said his 15 year old son recorded one of Gibson's rants onto an ipod).

Still ,Gibson's past history probably makes one inclined to give Esterhas the benefit of the doubt.

It's been rumored that when he was young,Gibson was brutally beaten (and almost killed) in a mugging that left part of his face horribly disfigured,and that a rich ,ultra-conservative, Catholic befriended Gibson and paid for a specialist to restore his face if Gibson in turn would go back to Mass.

Between that mugging (if true) and his father, I can see why Gibson would have such darkness inside of him and be horribly screwed up.

Esterhas (and again,as far as I know this is only Esterhas' word against Gibson's,and Esterhas has his own bizzare history)claims that Gibson is totally isolated from the world,with only a 24 hour day preist (hired to tell Gibson ,only what Gibson wants to hear) for company.

That Gibson has shut himself off from the world, and doesn't read any more, or even watch TV anymore (except for his old movies),that is sad.

A few years ago Winonna Ryder said that Gibson made anti-Semitic remarks to her, and homophobic remarks to a friend of hers who happend to be gay.

She said she told people about it back then ,but no one believed her,that Gibson has lived a double-life(a split personality perhaps?) for a long time.

Maybe his stunning performance in last year's The Beaver,did indeed come from firsthand experience.

Racism is either a choice (because of ignorance) or it's a mental disorder in case the person knows the real facts and STILL can't help it, and therefore, if you REALLY have serious issues with that (and Mel Gibson KNOWS better that really believe that Whites are superior to others), then you need help to overcome that problem, nothing wrong with that. In Gibson's case, it's his father that fucked him up during childhood, and he needs to accept that and get the help that he needs to overcome that insanity.
