Oh, I missed this:
Who knows? Based upon the conservative women I know (think "rich bitch" stereotype) and having spent a few years next to a Bible college full of young women who'd make your average teenage boy look like a prude, I'm definitely not surprised. The stuff about conservative women being more interested in sex doesn't make sense to me unless they're Christian, and then it makes perfect sense. Maybe you can explain that one to me.
Regarding the "rich bitch" stereotype I mentioned, this is probably the closest I've ever seen women come to truly "having sex like a man":
Step 1: "I am pacing back and forth in the office, and can't stop thinking about sex"
Step 2: "Therefore, I am going to go out after work, find a reasonably good-looking man, and use his penis until I get off."
My personal theory on this has to do with the conservative mind's legendary ability to compartmentalize, on philosophical gender traits coming to the fore, and being bored to tears with having safe, buttoned-down missionary sex with men from their "team." It's just my opinion, though, and I have no theory to explain the phenomena of the perpetually wet Bible school girl.
Of course, the vast majority of women and men at the very least like sex, so I don't think anybody was saying that liberal women or conservative men aren't having and enjoying sex, too.

There's been a lot of this. They've found that there's a strong correlation to the size of the portion of your brain that deals with fear and aggression -- larger in conservatives, and the portion that deals with bravery and hope -- larger in liberals. Of course, that's obvious.
I've also been going through a battery of tests from a psychology group at http://www.yourmorals.org/explore.php just to see the results, and how different scores come out for conservatives and liberals. This mentioned the "contamination disgust" That was covered in one of the tests. Also a very, very strong correlation between conservatives and worshipping authority. Also that they're narrow minded and have low self-esteem. Of course, it also stopped just short of calling me a psychopathThat's kind of common. (I'm not, I've been tested, I'm just kind of cold and uncaring, and have a limited range and depth of emotion. Whatev.)
Anyway, there are strong correlations between low intelligence, obsession with authority, fear, aggression, low self-esteem, and being conservative. Happens in every academic study that's been done.

That's really interesting. That you should have these character traits, and embrace an ideology which balances them.
It indicates to me a self awareness that is valuable. Also the fact that you should be able to articulate openly, and without being pressured to do so, the aspects of your character that your political views provide balance for: very lucid.
It makes me reflect on how many conservatives might be balancing an aspect of their personalities which might tend towards caring too much, requiring them to balance it with a political structure that tempers that. I wouldn't be surprised if that is a factor with some of them. However the lucidity in expressing that seems lacking: I have never seen a conservative express it openly the way you just did. Which is a shame, because beyond the divide between world views, I believe that lucidity is the most important factor. It doesn't matter to me what tendencies we hold politically as long as we have the self-awareness to be lucid about why we hold them, and how they color our perceptions and actions. As long as we remain in that awareness, we can safeguard against excesses and steer ourselves with a degree of realism.

The way they're addicted to hate radio, they must need a daily dose of groupthink or they're at risk of thinking about things for themselves and straying from the straight and narrow.
This is quite the circle jerk.

What we can observe is that those who say they are "liberals" and folks not like them are "conservatives" are themselves kinda nuts! It illustrates a major flaw in human nature that is exploited by those who know how to exploit it. The idiocy of this thread applied to other fields is that it is like saying someone is born a New York Yankee fan. It is crazy. It doesn't mean anything. Folks who call themselves "liberals" need to identify what they think makes them a "liberal" and then compare that with some kind of comprehensive definition of the term. War mongers, for example, are NOT liberals. So that excludes most "liberals" here. Killing unborn babies is not "liberal." That excludes most of the remaining "liberals."
An "un-born baby" is a fetus. It's not a baby until it has taken a breath. I am against killing babies.
Corrigan drop the red herring if you please. Prior to Roe v. Wade abortion, in the case of Rape, incest, or the mother's health was legal in 35 states. Less than 10 percent, most of them female, in my experience, of the anti abortion movement, would not make these exemption and based upon statistics from NARAL and Planned Parenthood limiting abortions to these cases would reduce the number of abortions performed by roughly 92%.
Annoy a leftist: Think logically.
