I honestly have no idea why we take the stand on Israel that we do. No matter what they do, we defend them. When the entire planet Earth passes a resolution condemning some action Israel has taken, we veto it every single time. Even for war crime, cluster-bombing civilians, assassinations and all manner of horrific acts, we defend them, no matter what. I really don't get it.

I do get that they have a tough situation, that they're surrounded by people who want to eliminate the state, and that they have a right to defend themselves, but we take that as a right to engage in war crimes and terrorism, which it isn't. Both parties, and all politicians in the US do it. I don't get why. All the excuses they give are bullshit.

First of all, You're not anti-semitic, just a bit misguided about Israel. The reason why American politicians do those things is because most Americans believe in Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state in peace and security. Also, most Americans dislike Israel's enemies because they are radical Islamists/violent barbarians who murder women and children to accomplish their goals, and they have no respect to life and humanity, not even in their own communities. All the Palestinians have to do to end these problems is to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, agree to a 2 state solution and stop terrorism. Is it THAT hard?

Can this be defended? These aren't isolated incidents - it's HUNDREDS of cases.
