Now, allow me to give you a Hebrew lesson (you know, the language you were speaking during your bar-mitzvah):

In Hebrew, a Jew is "Yehudi", and Judah is "Yehuda". Considering it's very close to God's Hebrew name, it's easy to assume that Yaakov/Jacob/Israel named his son in honor of God.



I would give the possibility of your family converting to Judaism hundreds of years ago a small chance, if it wasn't for your huge Jewish nose. But yeah, you are a Hebrew, and the reason why your family believe in Judaism is because...well, I don't know, maybe they can relate to it and they value their history and culture, or maybe because they are too intelligent to believe in any other organized religion, either way, God bless them.

There are entire books written about the archaeological evidence for the Old (and new) Testament. But for those with a motive to disbelieve (whether that's hatred for "zionism" or for someone like opti or antiquity, other reasons) no amount of info or evidence will ever be sufficient.

Snouter doesn't "disbelieve" anything, he's probably seen a lot of that evidence himself during his trips to Israel, he just doesn't know how to separate his emotions towards many people of his ethnicity and historical facts, like an annoying 7 year old kid, so he makes shit up. For example, he has a problem with my personality and he doesn't want me to succeed in the music business, so he denies my entire resume, makes shit up about me and/or pretend that my accomplishments have nothing to do with my talent, hard work and values. Same with the Jewish people in general, he will deny their entire history (despite all of the facts and evidence, as you said), he will make shit up about them using a mix of classical European style anti-semitism and modern anti-zionism and/or pretend that the reason why the Jewish people are very succesful isn't because of their talents, hard work and values.

Do you even know that that the reason WHY we even discovered a lot of the ancient Hebrew stuff in Jerusalem was because Jordan decided to bomb a few buildings as they were losing East Jerusalem in 1967 and thought that they would just destroy a lot of things before they lose the land, but the explosion ended up helping us discover a lot of that archeological stuff from thousands of years ago. The Arabs (both Palestinians and some Israeli Arabs, as well as Arab states) REALLY hate it when there are historical and acheological researches in Jerusalem, as it shows more and more evidence of the Jewish civilization and more evidence that the land was historically ours and not theirs. But I'm all about discovering the TRUTH!! If they found anything in Arabic from over a 1,000 years ago in Israel, I'd be impressed, but they didn't, and the only ancient stuff I've seen was in Hebrew or other indigenous languages, as well as in Roman (yes, the Italians technically have more claim to Israel than the Arabs/Palestinians).

The bottom line is that you can't argue with science. They tried to claim many times that the Jews have never been to Israel, that todays' Jews are not the Jews from 2,000 years ago, but historical, biological and archeological evidence has been consistantly proving those anti-semitic fools to be wrong. Regardless if you chose to believe in Judaism or our relationship with God, you can't deny our history and civilization in Israel anymore than you can deny the Native Americans' history and civilization in America just because you don't believe in their gods.

I trust archeology books (as well as history books and biological research) MUCH more than I trust anybody's political/religious agenda. If the Arabs are the indigenous people of Israel, they would be finding ancient Arabic stuff, not a bunch of Torahs and other ancient Hebrew stuff. The point is that they have absolutely no claim to that land, other than through their religion, while the Jews have been living there for many thousands of years, and no amount of censorship, denial and oppossition to archeological and historical researches has prevented people from discovering the truth about ancient Jewish civilization in Israel. This is actually the land of my fathers, not just some land that my so-called prophet had a dream about in Saudi-Arabia, after poorly interpreting the bible, no offense.

Exactly. The fact is that I don't give a fuck about Israel or Palestine. That doesn't change the fact that archeology, like all science, is subject to political winds.
