Because they're tired of seeing government send out 80 million checks to stooges like you every month.

What are those checks for? Are they the payments we receive on the life annuities we bought every payday for many years from the SSA? Or the insurance payments that were bought an paid for by the disabled? The retirement checks for our career military members or the annuities bought by government and railroad workers and paid for out of every paycheck?

What checks are you referring to, and why do you so resent them? Don't you don't realize that they're the return on investment responsible people made during their working careers in preparation for when they couldn't work any longer?

    Which checks?

You didn't buy anything. There are only taxes and government doesn't have the authority to provide anyone with annuities or insurance.

I have no problem with people getting welfare checks each month when it is needed, its when the government under liberal who keep moving the bar to allow more people to receive welfare every month without much effort on their part to do something in their lives to get off. Welfare should be a hand up not a hand out. There should be incentives for people to leave that generation after generation life style.

Liberals just aren't looking for an answer to the problem, I think that is a 'vote' issue to them. And people like you have falling for it lot, stock and barrel.

Remember the axiom of big government bureaucrats: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. When, finally, under the crushing weight of taxes and regulation, it stops moving, subsidize it. Going Postal

Clinton never got rid of welfare, he set a time limit on being able to receive them and some how that time limit has seemed to have slipped away.

    Slipped away how?

In 1996, for every 100 families with children living in poverty, TANF provided cash aid to 68 families. By 2010, it provided cash assistance to only 27 such families for every 100 in poverty. (We refer to this as the TANF-to-poverty ratio.

Look at the video in its entirety and see how many of those people are families with children.
