Because it's amazing that anyone survived a disaster like that at all.

It would have been more amazing if 420 had survived and only four had been killed.

That's where the 'personal faith' part comes in....or doesn't, depending on your cast of mind.

Sadly, the world doesn't not seem run on the basis of the 'wow' factor.

That's why he gave us the rainbow as a promise to never inundate the Earth again.

The rainbow is a natural phenomenon as proven by science. And I have a feeling the rainbow has been around for billions of years. But I think that might have been lost on you when Revelation was added to the Bible.

God is the author of the book of Nature. Instead of constructing a world where lethal funnel clouds are the symbol of his refusal to again flood the Earth, in his boundless goodness, he gave us the prismatic spectra of colors we enjoy after the end of showers on a rainy day.

LOL, here you go guys, I'm going to create you to be stupid and selfish and power hungry, therefore your resources will have an uneven distribution throughout the population. It's up to you guys to "figure it out," good luck, suckers! Hahahahah

Can I get that book out of library or do I have to go online?

He didn't literally create us that way. We just evolved as such. We are simply vehicles for our beneficial gene mutations.

Assuming that there is supposed to be a paradise on Earth is your first mistake.

Uh, he "created" us to evolve, at least according to Catholic doctrine.

Since when is recognizing that there should be NO reason for any child in the world to die of hunger since there is plenty of resources thinking that would be "paradise?" What planet are you on? I guess meeting basic human needs are considered "paradise" for cowpunk?

Of course there are things outside the realm of science!

This thread is a great example of otherwise smart people showing some sincere ignorance. As well as their atheistic fervor which can lead to... that river in Egypt.

I'm out the door in about 2 minutes so I can't reply more now.
And if you want it, come and get it... for crying out loud!
'cause this love that he has given you was never in doubt.
Let go of your heart, let go of your head and feel it now.

People who were prayed for died more than those who weren't. This is actually in medical journals. I'll give you citations if you want.
Once again, God is not an ATM. Jesus Himself was denied something He prayed for. God is sovereign, and cannot be controlled or replicated in a lab.
    The ambassador died, Obama lied.

D00d you've proven many times that you don't have a fucking clue as to what science is.

I'm not atheist and things that you may consider beyond the realm of science will be explained by science one day.
