Totally agree, on all counts! They both have issues.

Mama needs to take a breath and realize that her little girl is now grown and can make her own decisions, even if Mama doesn't like it.
Did I "want" my oldest getting married at 21? Nope, but there was nothing I could do to stop her or change it. She's a grown woman capable of doing with her life as she sees fit. I no longer get the final say.

If she was really as sheltered as her mom claims she was, then he was her first. I just hope for her sake, he's knowledgable. Then again, how would she know?

The fact is that girl just threw away 20 years of her life and is not at same level of maturity as the creepy teacher. As CR hinted at, if she was in her 30's and this guy was say 65 then it would be a better fit.
