For those of you who love them but don't like paying $1/wing for something you can make easily, you should make them yourself. SUPER easy, and nearly fail proof.
Heat oil to about 350.
Put wings in oil.
Leave them there until they're golden brown.
Put them on a paper towel and dump lots and lots of sauce* on them.
Let them sit for a few minutes and the sauce will cook in.
Feast.
Sauce: Either use your favourite cayenne pepper sauce and melted butter. 50/50 is standard, but if you're a masochist, use less butter and more sauce. Franks is the OG buffalo sauce, but it's little different from any other cayenne/vinegar/salt/xanthium gum sauce, which is what the vast majority of red hot sauces are. Franks has some garlic to thicken it up, but not much different. I'm kind of partial to Louisiana. Don't use Tobasco for this. Stick with cayenne pepper sauce, like Franks, Louisiana brand, Texas Pete's, etc.
If you don't want to do that, you can just use Franks Buffalo Wing Sauce. It's pretty close to perfect.
Add some garlic to the sauce if you like.
Yummy.
If you don't like spicy foods try KFC.
"All that stuff I was taught about evolution, embryology, Big Bang theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of hell [the bible] teaches us how to run all our public policy and everything in society." Rep. Paul Broun (R)
"I hope I live to see the day when, as in the early days of our country, we won't have any public schools. The churches will have taken them over again and Christians will be running them. What a happy day that will be!" -- Jerry Falwell
Agree, preparing buffalo wings is really easy. I often cook Buffalo wings and try several recipes since my kids would often request it for dinner. Sometimes instead of putting plenty of sauce I just brush the sauce on the chicken this will make the chicken still crunchy.
