Obviously you never opened it up.

I read that and it appears you are after the wrong person/organization, it was James Madison in 1788 in the Federalist papers, which is where a lot of our SC decisions come from, who said that.

Organizations like the JNF and UJA are registered charitable organizations, and you can take a tax deduction for donating to them, yes.

Irrelevant. They're citing it in an entirely inappropriate context.

As God said to Abraham, he blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse it. Consequently, supporting Israel is obedience to the Lord.

But since it is not making you any money we must find some field you can earn a living in. Why are you offended when we try to help you.

No case law in the federal courts has ever indicated that a legal construct called "the union" exists separately from the federal government; and that the General Welfare clauses pertains to it exclusively. Until the SCOTUS overturns their previous settled rulings, the matter rests.
It takes a pretty damned arrogant asshole to argue with Madison about what the constitution means. Congratulations.

Not as arrogant an asshole as it takes to argue with the SCOTUS about what the Constitution means, especially considering that Madison himself deferred to the High Court.
