I love sharing my music with people, however, that doesn't include information about my taxesI find that comical after you have promoted yourself here for years..
I mean, why would it matter to you if I'm paying 5% or 10% or 20%I also find that comical you have no problem putting out and wanting other peoples private information on this site but some how believe a percentage of your income tax paid is out of bounds.. The point is, I'm paying the share of taxes that the government expects me to pay, and that's all you need to know
.
OMG, is that really the best you can do"It?" Just one?.
What "damage" could ANYBODY do with the fact that you're Jewish, please tell meEXACTLY! As you indicate antiquity, Ganga is a hypocritical troll. Fortunately he is too dumb to do much damage with the personal info he obtains from people.. After all, that's why your mom left anti-semitic Europe to America, so that you wouldn't have to deal with such problems
. However, that still doesn't prevent us from making Jewish jokes about you, as you are a very funny person, and your fake "anti-semitism/zionism" doesn't "help" the situation either
.
The crap load of problems in the Great Depression were addressed with social safety nets. The whole Union suffers when 1/3 of the population have to resort to crime just to get some food for their kids. The over-all cost of not having them is much higher than the cost of having them, and that addresses a general welfare concern. The cost of a shop keep replacing the lock on his door, the insurance payments, the cost of law enforcement, trial, and 30 days in jail for some guy who broke into a bakery to steal some food is considerably higher than the cost of a loaf of bread and some sandwich meat.
The Republican way of "ignore the problems and hope they go away" isn't effective planning. You guys would spend a billion in associated costs to avoid paying a million in welfare, just out of pure spite. It's ridiculous, irrational, emotion-based policy that, luckily, we got past decades ago.

Sharing being the key word.Again, at some point you have to start charging people in exchange for cutting their lawns or whatever it is you can do that people are willing to pay for.

The depression ended a long time ago. Why should we continue to spend 2.1 trillion dollars a year?
When will the world learn that a million men are of no importance compared with one man? [Henry David Thoreau]
This is precisely where the conservatives have failed their duty as the "loyal opposition". Conservatives have not provided attacks on liberal safety nets, based on business sense. Rather than the emotional crap about safety nets taking away initiative, independence and prosperity, why not prove it? For example, show how spending X amount on the poor actually increased their percentage of the total population. That one should be easy. Go for it.
If Republicans had done just that since of the welfare state was gearing up (say, late 60's), they would have a lot more cred than they do now.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty..._United_StatesPoverty is defined as the state of one who lacks a usual or socially acceptable amount of money or material possessions.[1] According to the U.S. Census Bureau data released Tuesday September 13th, 2011, the nation's poverty rate rose to 15.1% (46.2 million) in 2010,[2] up from 14.3% (approximately 43.6 million) in 2009 and to its highest level since 1993. In 2008, 13.2% (39.8 million) Americans lived in relative poverty.[3] In 2000, the poverty rate for individuals was 12.2% and for families was 9.3%.[4]
The government's definition of poverty is based on total income received. For example, the poverty level for 2011 was set at $22,350 (total yearly income) for a family of four.[5] Most Americans (58.5%) will spend at least one year below the poverty line at some point between ages 25 and 75.[6]

A working mother with two children CANNOT live on $18,530 in my region. That won't even pay the rent on a 2 bedroom apartment in a ghetto neighbourhood, so don't tell me the poverty rate is too high.Code:Family Unit 48 Contiguous States and D.C. Alaska Hawaii 1 $10,890 $13,600 $12,544 2 $14,710 $18,380 $16,930 3 $18,530 $23,160 $21,320 4 $22,350 $27,940 $25,710 5 $26,170 $32,720 $30,100 6 $29,990 $37,500 $34,490 7 $33,810 $42,280 $38,880 8 $37,630 $47,060 $43,270 Each additional person adds $3,820 $4,780 $4,390
If we don't provide welfare assistance for food, shelter, day care, do you really expect to just let the kids starve to death? Or do you think it will instead result in something much worse than the cost of a PB & J sandwich?

You're not getting it. Government shouldn't care what the percentage is. If you do, spend your own money.

Bullshit. Protecting the weak goes to the core of why we have a society and a government to begin with.
That's nonsense. Government.wasn't created to cure societies ills. Liberals fucked up BIG TIME.

The only gov't that sought to cure none of societies' ills didn't last much longer after they fell to that level. Take the French Revolution as one reaction to that blindness.
We should suffer no anarchists, just because they wish everyone behaved well enough and were perfectly willing to quietly kill themselves when their resources run out.
