hey, i am looking for some anime's with lots of comedy. i would like it to be in a school/house setting, but that isn't necessary, all that i ask is for a funny comedy with some emotion and NO mecha. i had watched only one mecha and that was gurren laggan and only the first 8 episodes were worth watching since they had some feeling in them. stuff like one piece and naruto are good. also if it has something sexy in it will be a more likely candidate. stuff like bleach is not what i'm looking for. make sure it is as close to real life as possible but with a little fiction thrown in to make it more interesting.

Try Maid-Sama, It's really funny. It is a romantic comedy though, but I found It hilarious! It's in a school-setting, and the main character is a teenage girl, from a one-parent background (mum). She goes to a school that has recently been converted from an all-boys school, to a normal school, and she works really hard at keeping her reputation as the male-hating prez of the school up. Since her family is quite poor and struggling, She is also has a part-time job in a maid-cafe, and she works really hard at keeping this a secret from the rest of the school.
It's 26 epiosdes long.Hope it helped
