Is that your only response to facts that refute the bullshit you try to post on this forum? You seem to be fond of labeling everyone you oppose as a nazi or a Republican shill yet you are the one blindly posting liberal, democratic, rhetorical bilge on a routine basis. Maybe it is you that has Debbie Wasserman Schultz's balls stuck in your craw
Scandal? The government dispatched more firepower to arrest Nakoula Basseley Nakoula in Los Angeles than it did to protect its mission in Benghazi.
Back on topic, more or less, I'm wondering why the right wing is so critical of our national health care program. They had six years when they had the WH and majorities in congress to give us one of their own. Why didn't they? Too busy cutting taxes, borrowing and deregulating to attend to the country's needs? Is that why they left it up to the Dems to come up with a plan of their own? Well, we finally have one and it's their own fault if they're not happy with it.
They didn't propose one because they didn't WANT one. What they, and we, want are things like tort reform to lower doctors' costs and less insulation between patients and the cost of medical care to encourage thoughtful use of a limited resource. We don't WANT a national healthcare plan.
The ambassador died, Obama lied.
As long as we have doctors serving in the role of diagnosticians and insurance companies deciding treatment, patients need a national health care program to speak for them in their own health care. Had the medical/pharmaceutical industries behaved responsibly we wouldn't need the ACA, but then, if businesses behaved responsibly in every sector we wouldn't need as much government at all. The rules, regulations, policies and programs we suffer are in direct response to abuses by the private sector, demanded by the electorate for their own protection.
None of this fell out of the sky. It's lagging response to need.
Or perhaps you'd prefer proactive governmental action?
I believe you mean reactive gov't., or one that takes no action until they are forced to by law. To the extent all individuals behave responsibly, gov't can be reduced in size and power. Hadit is not nearly as reactive as F&L. Reactionaries are more frustrating than true conservatives because they combine a natural distrust of gov't (which is fine) with a naive trust in almost anything that is not gov't. If it isn't naivete, it is cynicism to favor the most powerful.

In Vader Speak now: Silent you insolent ton ton herder. The emperor doesn't appreciate your optimistic appraisal of the situation. You will do as you're told so pray I don't alter the terms your miserable existence any further. <insert imperial death march music and obligatory heavy breathing here>
