They're puppets, trust meh.
It's not limited to any one president (who I think are basically puppets) but yes, pretty much.
And if you want it, come and get it... for crying out loud!
'cause this love that he has given you was never in doubt.
Let go of your heart, let go of your head and feel it now.

^ Yep, I agree, as you can see in this video I began making (but didn't finish) haha

I never said that some Democrats aren't just a bad. Entitlement programs are necessary, they're staying, get used to it. Democrats, for the most part, seek secularism in government. It's not a law cause the bible says so with Democrats... that would be the hypocritical jackass republicans.
As to the taxing and borrowing, it wouldn't really be needed if the previous republican administration hadn't invaded Iraq. In 1997, after Clinton's exist from office, there was a budget surplus. After Bush there was a deficit.
Idiot.

I was talking to Vader, but you can share the title.

Lord Vader is probably off shining his helmet.

Yep, and it's damned good one.
THE USA'a should be 0%.You're ignoring the evidence I provided on income inelasticity, reduced per capita GDP growth rates and the reduction, not increase, of regulation (particularly in the financial sector, to tragic results). In fact, the USA has lower public social spending by percent of GDP (16%) than such insignificant countries as, er, Japan (19%), the UK (21%), Germany (25%) and France (27%).
It does work and they don't have to compete globally. Most already have that, and it doesn't work. How are they supposed to compete in your 'free market'?
Emotional drivel.By appealing to people's sense of community and ability to act collectively, as well as providing incentives to do better (which I don't think you can claim is purely 'greed') and security of being able to control to some extent the future through economic intervention. All things that you oppose and have no answer to (or outright deny).
Dependency has nothing to do with the size of government
You're already a socialist. It's only a matter of time until you grow up and become a commie.I'm not, nor have ever described myself as, a communist.![]()
Put that in your sig.

I can always get dentures. Not sure if insurance companies can fix Vader. Stupid is a liberal STD.

So why aren't you defending it and critiquing my arguments in favour of social spending/programmes?
Pensioners, those looking for work, poor families and veterans would all disagree. And you still haven't addressed my arguments.
They do in a free market. Or they can invest in a service economy, which is much harder to export, requires advanced communications equipment, foreign languages training and an ability to compete with places like India that already have all that and their own established markets.
Then by the same token is your sole appeal to greed.
It’s only a matter of time until you grow up.
Show us not the aim without the way, for ends and means on earth are so entangled
That changing one, you change the other too; each different path brings other ends in view
There are no arguments for social spending that are valid. I don't want a government that cares if people starve to death or have ass cancer. If you do, then feel free to use YOUR money to help them and keep government out of it. It's that simple. You can't save people from themselves.
You can call that greed or cold or selfish or whatever you want, but you'll never convince me that I'm responsible for other peoples problems.

Do you have any idea how much cancer treatments cost? No, you don't, because then you wouldn't suggest something as stupid asking individuals to foot every single bill.
This is why it's important that you realise that the most unfortunate people in your society did not get there because of the choices they made.
Which is why you needn't foot people's medical bills or pay their rent while they find a new job. You pay the government, and the government is responsible.

That is what insurance and safety nets are for.
Eh, yes it is the reason they are in the position they are in. The only people who have no choice are they that are born as unfortunates. Making bad choices should not be my fault. This is why it's important that you realise that the most unfortunate people in your society did not get there because of the choices they made.
The governments job is not to house and feed any able body person no matter what their situation is. Its the government job to give a hand up when needed not a hand out.Which is why you needn't foot people's medical bills or pay their rent while they find a new job. You pay the government, and the government is responsible.
