Now you may all know but optimus has formed a list of people that want Dick Tator back. They have been informed in PM's by optimus to PM Manu about bringing Dick Tator back. Which is a legit and just thing. However I think the opposite should happen.

Now my plan requires anyone who DOESN'T want Dick Tator back and tired of garbage from posters like those is to PM Manu in a well-thought out post. Tell him why Dick Tator doesn't deserve to come back and write why you like this board.

This list will be anonymous and you don't have to post in this thread. Instead, PM me (Ice Pick) to confirm that you have PM Manu. I think everyone should have a voice in this matter (no matter how few or something).

Of course you have the right to do so but I'd like to hear the reasons for not having DT back and/or keeping perma ban. After all this is a debate board, lets debate. Oh and keep it civil and within TOS, wouldn't want to be accused of being bully's or be an aggravation to the mods/Manu.

lol ffs ice pick. Ok, if you were perma-banned, I'd send the same PM to release you, with some minor edits of course. My point is more with perma-bans in general, that they are subjective, and they are detrimental to the interaction vs. the issue of bringing back any one person in particular.

First point: I wish I could believe that but alright. lol

Second point: perma-bans may be subjective but you and I agreed to the rules of the site when we registered. Plus you and I don't pay for this place I think it's up to whoever pays for the site to make the rules.

Or perhaps the rules need to be updated

I hear a lot of some are banned while some aren't. Now I don't know what happens behinds the scenes but each case is different. But hey life isn't fair.

hopefully we will get permaban ended and a lot of banned members will be allowed to return,not just DT. It's silly to permaban someone for losing their temper. Spam yes but everyone is a jerk sometimes, so give them the time out chair. eventually they will learn or get tired of being banned and move on.

My guess is that most former posters of DA choose not to post here anymore for various reasons. I know of several. Not one blamed DT for their choice not to return here.

Well, its not really fair to say anyone has been permabanned for losing their temper. Everyone I've ever seen permabanned here had temp bans first.
