I just don't understand the irrational worship of him. They idiots claiming that him throwing for 316 yards demonstrates divine intervention is just waaaaaay over the top and just reinforces the fact that most christians are mindless gullible idiots.
As to him personally, I have nothing against him personally even though I don't understand his inability to complete a sentence without using the words Jesus Christ. Doesn't make him a good quarterback though.

His 2 minutes are up
Scandal? The government dispatched more firepower to arrest Nakoula Basseley Nakoula in Los Angeles than it did to protect its mission in Benghazi.
I'd settle for one minute.
I don't dislike him. I know very little about him and as far as I know he has not done anything to harm our nation or my family.
He seems to be the sort that will not get into trouble. Troy Aikman literally never had issues that made it into the media.
Michael Jordan may be the ultimate example of a (or THE) superstar of the NBA that only made it into the media over gambling.
Tim Tebow completed a modest (yet since he is so young, respectable) 47% of his passes this year.
It helps to play for a winner like Tebow does.
Consider Sam Bradford playing for the 2 and 14 St. Louis Rams.
He's definitely getting a lot of attention right now and many people love him, but I haven't seen 'irrational worship' of him... do you mean by women who think he's gorgeous, or by football fans, or what?(I'm not a sports fan at all, so I guess I've just missed all that)
As to the second thing you said - Clearly he is a strong Christian, and an 'evangelist' at heart... but I've seen a few interviews of him, and I think you're exaggerating a bit. In the ones I've seen, he talks about football and when asked about his faith, he talks about it, he's not ashamed of it. But I haven't seen anything that seemed unnatural, like him interjecting "Jesus is the Messiah!" in the middle of a completely unrelated discussion. Then again, I could've just missed that.
And if you want it, come and get it... for crying out loud!
'cause this love that he has given you was never in doubt.
Let go of your heart, let go of your head and feel it now.

He's very handsome.

In a summer haze
Bound by the surprise of our glory days
while his passing statistics are not exceptional, he has one very good statistic this season and that is the 7-4 statistic in the games started. his passing can improve but he did show in the game last week against Pittsburgh what he can do when you don't cover the long options and play short on him. (it is a habit of mine to count the number of defensive players in the screen before the ball is snapped but i do also like counting)
I apprecciate how much he puts his body on the line with every play.

I like Tebow. I love the Pats and Brady!
The media is doing what they always do. Hyping something to the extreme. Tebow is not pushing his faith on people, the media are the ones who make a man showing any sign of his faith a big deal.

Really? Compare his interviews with those of say, Colt McCoy who is also very religious. Yes, you're Christian, we get it. we heard it the first 3000 times you said it.
By irrational worship I mean stuff like the 316 thing. Stuff like him being the only one mentioned on a team full of really good players. Tim Tebow didn't win all those games, the Denver Broncos did. (to his credit personally, he will be the first to say this). like I said, I just don't get it. Why does this kid evoke such emotions from people?

God asks Aaron Rodgers: "What do you believe?" Rodgers says, "I believe in hard work, and in staying true to family and friends.God can't help but see the goodness of Rodgers and offers him a seat to his left. Then God turns to Tim Tebow and says, "What do you believe?" Tebow says, "I believe in your total goodness, love and generosity and that you have given all to mankind. God is greatly moved by Tebow's eloquence, and offers him a seat to his right.
Finally, God turns to Tom Brady: "And you, Tom, what do you believe?" Tom replies, "I believe you're in my seat."

I'm so tired of hearing about this kid, that from this point forward his name is TIM TEABAG. Besides, it's his defense that actually allows him to look as mediocre as he is.
