An open mic buddy brought one last night to our open mic type gig and plugged into a Fender Reverb Deluxe Reissue. The Fender is really nice clean, but that is all it can do. His was actually a few years old when Wattson labelled it Superfuzz before the Digital Music trademark controversy. Anyway, it made the Fender come alive with some awesome octavy fuzziness. In the same family of sound as my Octron into my Soul-Bender.

I will bring the video camera to the next open mic, next Wednesday, and hopefully the dude shows up again. He had a bunch of other collectible pedals. I was on bass for him last time and he is a great player not only because he knows what to play, but because he LISTENS to what is happening. I was doing a Purple Haze pattern on bass and then switched to Third Stone From the Sun and he followed what I was doing without me saying anything.
