    I Feel So Country

I eat supper every night at the Cracker Barrel
When I step out, I dress in western apparel
An American girl, just like the 4th of July
I Feel So Country I could die

I know every song Shania ever sang
I can't resist that good old country twang
I wave my flag every 4th of July
I Feel So Country I could die

Well, I'm looking for a man who's looking for a girl
Who knows just how she feels
Looking for a man who's looking for a girl
    Who's looking for something real

I grew up on a farm, I learned how to hoe and plow
Come on, city boy, I'll show you how
When I love a man, I never say goodbye
I Feel So Country I could die
    Oh yeah

I love everything 'country' except country music! LOL. This was good though. I don't think it would necessarily have to be a 'country song'.....a good beat and rhythm would work great.

And don't even get me started on Shania! Soooo tired of her! I wish they had a radio station just for her so the rest of us wouldn't have to hear her on our Easy Listening stations. An interesting little ditty about Shania....her home town is Timmins, Ontario (not too far from where I live) and about 10 years ago they created a Shania Twain museum in her honor. She has never been there! In recent news, the town council is deciding whether to get rid of it and use the building for something else because very few people ever visit it and it's a waste of taxpayers money. I kinda felt sorry for her after that. Oh well....famous people come and go.

    Thanks for some great writing!
