Under special conditions you can exceed light speed not cowpunk.

No, they make us erroneously believe they do so.

If this were Star Trek, perhaps.

Guess that depends on your definition of "proof".

Proves to a reasonable degree of experimental certainty.

No genius, they've already done it in a lab. I'm not talking warped space/time.

The validity of that result has been challenged. There is no real square root of a negative number.

In a further twist, after fixing the loose cable, they discovered another piece of equipment was making it look like the neutrinos were traveling far slower...taking that into account, and once fixed, the neutrinos were traveling even faster than the loose-cable experiments suggested. If born out through additional testing, Mr. Asimov might finally find his square root of negative one half piece of chalk.

Oh dear god. Is that what you'd like to called now not cowpunk, God? You sure seem to think you know everything.

86 Dude can't possibly know anything about physics, being from Arkansas and all.

If faster-than-light travel is possible, Maxwell's and Schrodinger's equations are somehow wrong. Needless to say, given all the experimental confirmation since the days of Farraday and Marconi, that's a bit hard to believe.

Bravo on the who's who of science.

Nah, a Who's Who of science would have to include names like Darwin, Mendel and Watson and Crick. You can't just ignore the natural sciences like that.

So, it's your belief that the experiment was somehow compromised and they haven't found the reason why. I suppose that's a fair point. If your wrong though then the consequences are huge.

On almost every dive to a depth of greater than 1 mile, at least one new species of animal is discovered.

There are only 5 submersible in existence that can reach the bottom of the abyssal plane -- the mostly flat bottom of the deep ocean.

Only about 1% of the abyssal plane has been explored.

We know more about the surface of the moon than the surface of the bottom of the sea.

I watched a documentary on deep sea animals last night.
"All that stuff I was taught about evolution, embryology, Big Bang theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of hell [the bible] teaches us how to run all our public policy and everything in society." Rep. Paul Broun (R)

"I hope I live to see the day when, as in the early days of our country, we won't have any public schools. The churches will have taken them over again and Christians will be running them. What a happy day that will be!" -- Jerry Falwell
