School Kid Defends Himself Against Bully

7-Year-Old Accused Of Possible Sexual Harassment For Kicking Boy In Groin
    December 2, 2011 11:12 PM

BOSTON (CBS) – A 7-year-old boy is being investigated by his South Boston elementary school for possible sexual harassment after kicking another boy in the crotch.

The first grader’s mother, Tasha Lynch, says she was shocked by the school’s decision.

“He’s 7 years old. He doesn’t know anything about sexual harassment,” she said.
    http://boston.cbslocal.com/2011/12/0...-boy-in-groin/

We hear leftists preach about bullying all the time. But when a 7 yr old takes measures to defend himself against an asshole kid, the very same leftists come crawling out of the woodwork accusing the 7 yr old of "sexual harassment." Ain't that some shit?

Leftists have caused this problem. Failing to properly supervise and promote a safe environment for these kids from the bullies resulted in a 7 yr old taking his personal safety into his own hands.

Leftists not only failed the kid, they failed the bully. And society.

It says 'South Boston Elementary School' are investigating him, not leftists.

The school systems in the US are dominated by the left. This seems like self defense to me. Calling it sexual harrassment is ridiculous.

Are school systems dominated by the left? How do you prove that?

And yes, it's ridiculous. It shouldn't (and no doubt isn't) a matter of left and right, it's a matter of mislabelling this as 'sexual harrassment'.

American public schools are controlled by leftists. As a result of their long domination, American kids have be come experts in condom use but can't spell their own name or find their country on a map. Those children who attend private schools, or are home schooled, routinely do much better and can run circles around kids who are taught by big teacher unions. It's another example of the failure of liberalism. Now, that's not saying that ALL public schools are failing our youth, some districts have normal people in control which off set the idiotic liberalism.

In this case, the bully could have killed that kid. But it was the victim who was suspended from school. THAT is liberalism in action and why liberals should not be allowed around children.

Schools are maintained by school boards elected by people locally, and influenced by legislation from past and present governments (not all of which are Democrats, which again is not leftist so much as centrist). So you're wrong.

Well, there's nothing wrong in learning how to use a condom or what it's for (provided the children aren't too young an age), and problems with spelling and cartography have nothing to do with leftism or liberalism.

That's because private schools are proft-driven and have to charge, thus having an immediate revenue which they can use to attract better teachers. That system works, but only for those that can pay. And since talent doesn't simply run in rich families I think it's great your country has invested in education for all children. Of course, you don't seem to.

As for homeschooling, there's all kinds of benefits to that. But it's not always an option available to working parents, and can lead to social problems if they don't let the child socialise with other children like they could in say, a school.

How is it a liberal decision? Answer: because it's one you don't agree with.

Agreed, but that doesn't change the fact that teachers employee unions donate millions to democrat campaigns and very little to republicans. Read here and make up your own mind.

Not entirely true. Yes, school boards are elected locally but all education standards come from above. Ever heard of "No child left behind"?

Big leftist teacher unions pack local school boards by given millions of dollars getting like minded leftist elected. These unions then suck the taxpayers dry with lucrative contracts making teachers in the US some of the best paid in the world. Once leftists are in that position, they enact all manner of perverted sexual mandates such as teaching 7 yr olds about homosexuality, and older children how to put rubbers on cucumbers. Meanwhile little Mary can't spell her own flippin name.

Then the idiot left doesn't understand why bullies get kicked in the nuts when they choked other kids.

    So no, I'm not wrong.

Well, there's nothing wrong in learning how to use a condom or what it's for (provided the children aren't too young an age), and problems with spelling and cartography have nothing to do with leftism or liberalism.
Because the damn leftists need to spend more time teaching kids the three R's and less time teaching them how to properly put on a rubber. Is that too much to ask?

Private schools don't teach Condom 101, they actually teach the kids how to add and subtract. And as for public schools, they charge money as well. It's called taxes.

As for homeschooling, there's all kinds of benefits to that. But it's not always an option available to working parents, and can lead to social problems if they don't let the child socialise with other children like they could in say, a school.
Home schooled kids do interact with other children. Many homeschoolers have formed groups in which more than one family get together on field trips and other group lessons.

How is it a liberal decision? Answer: because it's one you don't agree with.
It's like blaming the victim of rape for the rape. In this case a child could have been seriously injured or killed. Just the right amount of pressure can fracture the Hyoid bone in the neck causing swelling and death in minutes. But no, let's do this leftist style and suspend the victim. Makes prefect sense to you, doesn't it?

Mother says son was suspended for calling teacher ‘cute’

    Posted: 5:35 pm EST December 2, 2011Updated: 6:06 pm EST December 2, 2011
GASTONIA, N.C. -- A Gastonia mother says her son was suspended for calling a teacher "cute.”

Chiquita Lockett said her 9-year-old son, Emanyea, spent the last two days at home.

Lockett said the principal of Brookside Elementary called her Wednesday to say the incident was a form of “sexual harassment.”

Emanyea told Eyewitness News a substitute teacher overheard him tell another student a teacher was cute.

    Then he was suspended.

To say nothing of the reality that it's desirable for kids to socialize with adults instead of focusing solely on their peers. After all, they're going to spend a LOT more of their lives as adults than as teenagers. Perhaps more of them would act more like adults when they're middle aged if they were expected to when they were teens.

american public schools are actually very good. it is republican nonsense to compare them unfavorably to western europe (e.g., finland) or east asia (e.g., taiwan) because republicans do not like unions, such as the powerful teachers' union, which, to be fair, is essentially an arm of the democratic party.

white and asian kids in american public schools do as well or better than their counter-parts in western europe and east asia. the reason that american schools appear to perform poorly is that there are many more blacks and hispanics, under performing minorities in general, in american public schools than there are in western europe or east asia, which are still very homogeneous.

Then by all means, let's be honest, Labor unions economically tied to a political party are corruption.

I'm not denying the state's role in education. And before DamnYankee says anything, that piece of legislation took both parties to enact (and not just liberals/the left-wing/socialists/communists/terrorists/anyone he doesn't like...)

That might have been a liberal move, but not one all liberals subscribe to -certainly not to children of a certain age. I doubt it's the chief cause of 'little Mary' not being able to spell 'her' own name, but more likely something to do with 'her' locality and home-life. Or, indeed, any other serious suggestion you could care to name.

That's not really the same thing.

Yes, but that's dependent on the parent doing that. Not all of them have the time or are sociable themselves. And, like I said, have to have a certain amount of free time themselves in order to be able to homeschool in the first place.

No, it doesn't, and the rape comparison doesn't make sense to me since it's always leftists and feminist groups that are forced to complain about reactionary statements from the establishment that put the blame on women for rapes (the whole point behind the Slutwalk Protests) because of how they dress or act. In fact, women's rights and feminism have been an active part of leftist politics since, oh, Mary Wollstonecraft.
