    Please Delete Spam Threads

The mods are doing a great job at banning the spammers. One was banned while I was reporting the thread... lol

But I have to say, the threads continuing to exist seems rather pointless. Indeed, it might even be counter productive as I'm sure the bots see those types of threads and that's why they come here to post their nonsense.

Therefore I submit to you, please DELETE the spam threads.

And I'm submitting a poll just to show that others agree with me on this.

Also, I know it's not MUCH space, but still... Manu is paying for bandwidth to host those threads. Or wasting space on his own servers.. I don't know his setup. But still. It's a waste.

I changed our spam Filter. I'm not sure if it will help, but let me know over the next week.

Leave their spam up if you must, but edit out all their links.

I don't know if VB has this feature or not, but allowing regular users to Embargo posts by new players...so that only mods can see them, will allow some policing of the site when mods are not online.

It's been better, but we're still getting a few per day it seems. I should hit 200 in my sig # by week's end.

If by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties — someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."
