Has anyone had any luck with this? I've met some couples who found each other on the net, and they are usually terrible relationships.

My friend recently died, but before he did, he told me that he had all sorts of luck on Craigslist and other dating sites. After he died I posted an ad on Craigslist (of all places).

Strange thing is, I ended up talking to his most recent ex and I'm going to call her soon.

I went to Zoosk and set up a little account to look around. I don't know, something about it seems creepy.

The worst form of meeting women, bar none. Every woman I've met from dating sites has turned out to be a mental case in some way or other. Drama queens, drug addicts, ex lesbians, serial daters, attention whores, the obese, and I even had one guy write me and tell me he'd be willing to undergo the operation for a sex change for the right guy. The advice I give, and live by, for dating sites is this: Use them to find some ass, but not a relationship. If they were decent women they wouldn't need to use a dating site. Men ask decent women out all the time, the rest use dating sites.

It's interesting, the only girls I saw on the site that I liked were 18-20 years old. WTF is an 18-20 year old girl doing on a dating site. I mean, what's the problem, they are young and good looking. It must some horrible personality trait.

Oh, definitely take the shot. Just always remember though, you met her through a text message, so it's perfectly acceptable to dump her through one! Avoid that drama, baby!

It's funny how 7-10 years ago, if you met someone online it was weird/strange, and now it is mostly accepted.

I did internet dating sites for a few years and I had some fun, but yeah, nothing stuck.
As luck would have it I met my wife through MySpace - we weren't "matched," I saw her, thought she was cute and had a bunch of interests I dug too, so I started a conversation. A few years later and wammo - we got married.
