TV Shows that you are glad are canceled

Wasn't much into Stargate Universe, I know some liked it but all of the drama and no action was kinda boring.

i've never been glad when a show has been cancelled because i never disliked a show enough to be happy that it's gone. simply if i dislike it, i ignore it.

I pretty much agree.. I also have been a fan of a quite a few shows that got canned after before their 2nd or 3rd season... "Chase", "The Lost World" and "the Fugitive" being some.

I'm pretty sure that I'll be happy when Jersey Shore and South Park get axed.

Being a fan of Stargate SG:1 and Stargate Atlantis, I'm sure you can see why I would be glad that turd called Stargate Universe was cancelled.

South Park provides social commentary that I'm sure upsets you because it exposes your hypocrisy. Indeed, you remind me of the anti-smoking folks in the episode "Butt Out".

Jersey Shore is simply a train wreck and people watch it out of amazement of what those idiots are going to do next. It's not for me but I can see the appeal.

You will be pleased to know that Beavis and Butthead are coming back.

sorry that joke lost it's humour over a decade ago. Besides the first time i heard the joke was pretty priceless so it has made all subsequent references fall woefully short. I was in a packed gym class and it was our first day of
weight training... one of the kids was bored and so began fidgeting with a weight on a bench press, causing the weight on the other side to drop, narrowly missing my skull.

And yes I know... what a pity it missed.

Sue me for not liking social commentary presented via scatological humour..

    Are you sure it missed?

It wasn't the gym skit I was comparing you to. You should watch the entire thing...

I wasn't making reference to a skit... I was making reference to the line "You bastards you killed Kenny" granted the person who shouted it in the weight room took some liberties with the line by saying "You bastard you almost killed Kenny!" I laughed and so did a few others.. but my teacher was pissed with both the joke and the absent minded dude who pulled the stunt. Or perhaps he just wanted to defy Newtonian law.. i don't know.

Siv you sound like the typical people I know who have watched about 30 seconds of South Park and decided it is all worthless toilet humor. Broaden your mind.

I actually think SivV would like the episode which was really about Katrina.. Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow!

South Park is indeed one of the most intelligent shows on tv.

Which explains why SivV doesn't like it. He'd rather watch Lifetime about how all men are rapists.

Not everyone likes South Park, just like not everyone likes The Godfather, deal with it. I don't pigeon hole you and make blind assumptions. I've never even heard of Lifetime... is that a crime too?

I think South Park has been "lacking" in the newer seasons. Not as funny as older episodes.

The show I will miss the most is Law and Order. I now watch shows on the Audience Channel which include 'Rake' which has great humor. 'Underbelly' is a different type of show but a little violent. 'Damages' is another good show. They all have lot of nudity and sex. Wednesday's Channel 101/239 on DirectV. Most of the shows are Australian with no commericals.
