They did. Trouble is that unless you sit in Reverend Wright's Church or that of some other lunatic Chone disciple you won't here much about racism because it is no longer a hot button issue.

Yes and I also comprehend it. Excluding snouter and Dick tator most complaints from the right have to do with unequal treatment legitimized by things like affirmative action.

Yes, fm, I do. Most of the information I get on the subject comes from people like Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, and Dinesh d' Souza. For their efforts they are called race traitors a term right out of the fascist play book.

DT, the statement was quite clear.

the sitch is a little more complex than these guys allow=the blockheads on this site believe the govt is supporting the black community-its guys our age that are supporting it and they get tired of having to foot the bill for eveything/its like the oil company complaining the govt should shoulder more responsiblity for alternative energy..\
a lot of mature blacks laff at their so called leaders but theyll support them because whats the alternative? cave in to whitey? fk dt and all the racists lets just keep welfare-its not like they have any real ideas to help us

People are afraid of the alternatives because it's easier to ask for help from a faceless, nameless government than it is to ask a neighbor, friend, family, church or charity.

    Oh, are you black now?

How about we turn welfare into something more like the job corps...they get job training and they work, in turn they get money. Mandatory drug testing as well to ensure that those getting govt. assistance are serious about working and they aren't junkies. If someone falls out of the training or they don't show up for their job, they don't get paid. There. That's one idea.

the neighbors in question are overtaxed-they get asked and they get asked before the govt does many times=i dont like welfare and this is all a very crude sketch of wahts going on out there=there are mny more facets to this mess=i agree lets change it-i love the idea of firing the czars-theyre over paid and ineffective

Ok. I'll write an email to Obama now. I absolutely loath our welfare system... hate it hate it hate it. Hand outs never help a person better themselves or their lives. Hand ups do...teaching them life skills, job skills, educating them does lead to them having better lives in the long term. But welfare's another bureaucratic boondoggle... this is what you get w/ big government. And politicians have no motivation to fix it.

pedestrian thinking-govt automatically bad-why not just admit you dont want the people to get any help at all and you dont want to ever hear about them or see them ever again? politicians are taking the cheapest route because americans dont have the endurance to solve any of their problems -they follow the people=the people are bad
