0 and 16 possible for Cowboys

Just checked the standings. The lost their first to the Jets, who scored 17 points in the last 12 minutes. Score: Jets 27, Dallas 24. Better yet, the Jets kicked the winning field goal with 27 seconds left.

0 and 16, therefore, remains possible.

The party is on me if that ever happens. I despise them.

My wife and I toured their stadium. I recommend anyone that is in the area even briefly do that, for it is not expensive, parking is very close to the stadium, the stadium is incredible, and that huge screen is almost too huge to believe.

The tour guide asked, How many of you are fans of the Cowboys? All but I raised a hand. Even my wife raised her hand.

She then asked, How many of you are not fans? My hand was the only one raised.

Then came the Why Nots, etc. I loved it!

    LOL wishful thinking, eh KillZone?

I have no strong feelings either way about the Cowboys. Win or lose, I don't care.

I'd like nothing more than winless Cowboys. I doubt it will happen though.

I hope Dallas wins another Superbowl so all the sad blacks who are unemployed because of Obama's policies can burn that shitty city to the ground. They tend to burn down their own neighborhoods in celebration. Never understood it, myself...

There were no riots when the Mavs won the NBA, no reason to think there would be any when the Cowboys win another one.

I loved them during the Jimmy Johnson era. He turned them around so quickly. That team he built had it all and they would have won 4 straight Super Bowls if both Jones and Johnson would have curbed their egos.

i got not love or hate for the cowboys. i do remember the last game played in their old stadium, it was the first time in franchise history they allowed 2 seperate running backs to go over 100yrds in the same game .... they hand picked the ravens probably by blowing the comish ... and they got their ass kicked lol .... it was a great game.

About 200,000 folks showed up and I read of not a single "incident" that happened. It came off rather smoothly.

MILF-in-DFW, watch AT LEAST the first 30 seconds of this. It shows the final game ending and:

    1) Dirk running to the locker, very emotional--and who could fault him?

    2) James dragging his *ss to him locker.

    3) Kidd staying on the court and visiting with the Heat players (sans James, since he left the court).

It's about 4 minutes and it's good if one is a Mavs fan:

I must admit I lucked across that video. So I don't deserve much credit for that.

Besides Kidd and Dirk, I was really glad Shawn Marion (who played on some Sun teams that were so very talented) won a ring. Like Kidd and Dirk, Marion, aka "the Matrix," is getting some age on him. He had some very good years with some very strong Suns teams. His jumper may be "ugly" but he has a ring!

I bought Tracie an "official" NBA DVD that covers the Mavs season and the playoffs. She's a huge fan and she enjoyed it.

NOTE: To any that cares I changed the subject of the post. And, I did it with premeditation (1st degree).

The Rams too, but that would surprise no one.

I would rather see them burn down Houston first.

Go skins go! lol. I was rooting for the cowboys until right before kickoff, i hate it when they call the cowboys "america's team" .... fuck that. they are NOT America's team. If anyone is its NE they at least play closer to where america started. ... and for the record, i hate the patriots and i think tom brady is a cry-baby bitch.... he's a cry-brady.

    0-16? 15-1 sounds more likely.

I saw they were leading by 17 (I think) and turned it off.

Had I known they'd blow it, I'd have watched it all.

BTW, as I've posted before, when Jones hired Johnson, I became a Cowboys fan again. Tom Landry needed to go (5 years earlier). I weathered through 1 and 15, having faith that Johnson would turn them around. I've no doubt that their 2nd year Super Bowl team under Johnson is the best NFL team that has ever played. They had everything. How many did they hang on the Bills? 50+? Then Jones and Johnson had their Battle of Egos and Jones paid Johnson to go bye-bye. Had not "Gunsmoke" Switzer screw it up they would have won 4 straight.

    Aikman's accuracy was miraculous.

Emmitt Smith (check his records in his school and at U of F to see why Johnson moved up in the draft for him) isn't the best ever, but his O line was the best of its time, and his durability makes him one of the best ever.

    Irvin.

They had that tight end (undersized) that was always open.

Their D was, if not the overall best in the league, one of the best.

Then they added the most versatile player ever to play: Deion Sanders. Michael Irvin said that had "Sander played wide receiver in college and the Cowboys had traded for him, I'd be on the bench. That's how talented Sanders was." Sanders was a virtual terrorist with punt returns and kickoff returns. He locked down the other teams best reciever.

He is the only player ever to score touchdowns 6 was (1 rushing, 2 receiving, several punt returns, several kickoff returns, several interception returns, several returns of a fumble).

[BTW, he lead the NL in triples the year he played baseball (he may have lead the entire league, I've not the time to look it up).]

That team will eventually have at least 5 players in the Hall of Fame, and maybe more. Again, best team in NFL history.

When they won their 3rd out of 4, it unraveled. I grew weary of not only them, but the entire NFL.

    Now, I hate them!!!
