    NewL Post your rig here!

The last thread was super old and dated, so I thought let's have a new one.

I don't run anything that impressive these days. I have a Lenovo X200 ultra portable. I swaped out my 320GB SATA disk for a 60GB SSD drive.

My desktop is a Core 2 Quad with 6GB of RAM. I run dual 1080P screens, powered by a Radeon HD 5500.

Both are running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

    I'm a gamer but I guess I'd rate my PC 6 out of 10.

    Here's my Specs :

    Intel Core i3 @ 2.93 GHz
    4.0 GB DDR3 RAM
    250 GB Hard Drive
    Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT 1GB
    Windows 7 32 bit

Built it myself. With the budget I had, I wasn't impressed with what I could get if I bought a ready made. So I bought everything part by part.

    Home Datacenter

Don't really use my HTPC anymore. Have switched to a low power consumption after about a year of planning, testing and calculating cost to benefit ratios. Here's my current setup.

Everything is in a full size rack about 7ft tall with doors front and back and cable management.

    Server:
    Chassis: Rosewill RSV-Z2000
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...&Tpk=Rsv-z2000

    Mobo: Asus P7F-X server board
    Google is your friend

CPU: Intel Xeon L3406 Clarkdale 30-watt (the power of a quad core in a 30-watt dual core.....power savings ftmfw!)

Memory: 4GB Kingston ValuRAM ECC unbuffered Server Memory DDR3 1066

HDD: OCZ Agility 2 90GB MLC SATAII SSD

Storage is a long one to describe, but in short, many terabytes of redundant storage.

Lastly, it all runs through a 1-watt 802.11n ubiquiti rs-pro setup i built and to top it off that runs through a 48-port gigabit managed 3com superstack. I also have replaced the htpc side of things with jailbroken AppleTV 2's.

My entire setup pulls less than 150-watts. The server alone pulls as much as a lightbulb.

I might add, if you want to build this setup, leaving out the storage, rack and managed switch, it'll run you about $1100. It drops my electric bill by about $90/mo and streams hd movies to friends and family.

I got mine for Christmas, not last Christmas but the one before that. It's a desktop pc and works awesome for online games like Wizard 101.
Its not uber powerful but dad can upgrade it since he built it for me.

10-Bay ATX Mid Tower computer case with LCD display.
    480W ATX power supply.
    Intel desktop DH55HC Motherboard.
    Intel core i3-540 LGA1156 4-way multi-task CPU @ 3.06 Ghz.
MSi N210 MD512H 2nd generation Nvidia graphic card.
    One terabyte hard drive.
    2 DVD drives.
    Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.

I'm running it off my dads wireless router and I use one USB port for my camera and one for downloading calculator apps and the other 6 are for flash drives and anything else.
I got a Kindle Fire too for my birthday and it runs off our WiFi too.
