After some obligations here are taken care of in a few days, we have back-to-back comps at two hotels in Reno, 5 days each, plus free air travel out in a casino jet, and a free ride to Seattle, where we plan to go on to Alaska and see my brother and sister-in-law. He's been getting called up a lot lately, he's a Reservist, and we never know if he's going to be around or not, my sister-in-law has the keys to the fishing boat, so we'll try hard to get over it.
Don't know what to do after that. Maybe over to Japan, or even Russia; I was always curious about seeing Vladavistock or whatever that big naval base is there north of Japan.

President Josiah Bartlet: Sweden has a 100% literacy rate. 100%! How do they do that?
Leo McGarry: Maybe they don't and they can't add.
I have a conference in Seattle around the end of July. That's about it.
I don't have any real summer travel plans. End of 2010 I went to South America for 3 weeks, so now I'm more relaxed. I have a few weekend trips, and some weddings/bachelor parties over the next 6 months, so probably no big trip for me in 2011.![]()
Later this month I'm taking a motorcycle trip down to Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina for a week or so. I'm currently trying to get five days off in August in conjunction with other vacation I already have scheduled. If I get it I'm doing an 8,000 mile, 30 day trip with friends which will include old Route 66, Vegas & Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, that Pacific Coast highway up the California coastline, Sturgis for bike week, then home to another bike rally. If I can't get those couple of days I'll just take a three week trip by myself, with Sturgis being the only place that I know for sure I'll be going.

I haven't owned a motorcycle since I was 19. I think the last bike I rode was a Moto Guzzi owned by the brother of an ex-gf, something like this...
I really want a BMW bike. It is just so dangerous with all the bad drivers though.
BMWs are nice bikes. Go get one. More people die in car accidents than bike accidents everyday.
going to cartagena with two friends from college for two weeks in july and be degenerate.
No summer vacation plans other than some long weekends...one to Vermont, one to Maine, one to Martha's Vineyard. I took three trips late last year/early this year (a cruise, Orlando, and Utah skiing), so I'm good for a while.

Just returned from a week in Wales. We've got a week in July planned for York and the east coast and a week in August to visit the Isle of Man.
Not going abroad this year but next year we've plans to visit a relative who has moved to Northern Italy.
Your arrogance is nearly as great as your ignorance.

Alaska seems to be popular this year. We're flying into Anchorage, but heading for a marina in Seward and go bobbing in the ocean.

While i'm not doing any large or epic vacation, I am going to San Francisco for a weekend, Las Vegas for a weekend, Palm Springs for a weekend, and then Santa Barbara and Dallas for weddings. So, nothing large, but a bunch of smaller (and hopefully equally fun!) trips.
Leaving for Medford tomorrow. Just for the weekend. Nothing special, just a ride down the river on a jet boat.
