Planning a few days to take in the Oregon coastline. Bit of a roadtrip with a couple of friends sometime in August. Anything with long stretches of near empty beaches with crashing surf is right up my alley.

I went to Seattle for a long weekend to see my daughter and granddaughter.
Other than that, I don't have any plans, and if the time off isn't already scheduled, there's no taking any time off in August due to staffing shortages, so I guess it's good I wasn't wanting to go anywhere any time soon.

Heading up to the SF Bay area for a long weekend (tomorrow - Monday), then in late August/early September I'll be at a week-long arts festival. That pretty much does it for my travel plans this summer.

Which part of Nortern Italy? I used to live near Lake Como in the Varese area which is due north of Milan. My brother moved back to the region two years ago.

The only summer plans I have are taking in the Rogers Cup and doing a half triathlon. If I were to chose a place to travel to it would be the Yukon or Northwest Territories.

Were you disappointed when you moved to Lake Como and discovered it wasn't a typo?

Spent spring break at the 'Great Wolf Lodge' water park. Will travel with grandkids to Silverwood amusement park in North Idaho second week in August and finish out the summer going to Seattle to see the lousy Mariners play two games against the Angles in late August.

    Summer Vacation Plans?
    * Overnight trip to the Sierra's today

    * 4 days in Mammoth next week to hike, fish, and a traditional archery shoot

    * 7 day backpacking trip in the High Sierra when I return from Mammoth

That will finish off my summer

It's a village called Monzone in the Tuscany region.

Hi friends! These are the great places. But do not forget about safety in our crazy days. It is better to choose travel places on the base of learning various locations and selection the safest ones. This is the rule for modern traveler even if you are going to visit places of your country. Anyway if you want to be in safety during your travel you should carefully prepare for this. Learn your travel places before travel and take necessary things. Enjoy your summer (and other seasons) vacation!

I am back in the office this morning after spending six glorious days on Martha's Vineyard. It was my first time there. What a great trip. I really don't feel like being in the office today. *sigh*

Summer vacation is the time to relax not only for the children but for the whole family. It is the time where you feel to spend some time leaving behind all your hectic schedules. My favourite summer destinations are Ponza & the Pontine Islands, Italy and Nahanni National Park, Canada.

Nice thread. I plan to go on summer for Zurich, Europe. This is best destination for summer season to pass our summer vacation in cold weather with the beauty of nature. I just show all the snaps of this place, these are so nice and beautiful. So at this time me and my friends go for the trip of Zurich.
