Absolutely correct. The war on drugs is the culprit. Bono is once again hacking at the branches of a problem instead of going for the root. Same thing with his "forgive third world debt" crusade. The USA is a big country, not only that, it is a big industrialized country that has produced countless weapons far more wide-spread than anything the Mexicans have. Ergo, big gun runners in big America supply weapons to little old Mexico.
