Caught A Light Sneeze...
Cover You In Oil , AC/DC, 1995
Man of War, The Poor, 1994
Cbgy's, by Sid Straw, 1995
Disconnected Child, by Tin Star, 1999
Jungle, by E. L. O. off of Out of the Blue (70s, sue me if my years don't jive)
Sign of the Cross, Maiden, 1995
Aint My Bitch, Metallica, 1996 (obscure to me for I rarely heard it, one of their best)
Tonight The Heartache's On Me, Dixie Chicks, sometime in the 90s, show-cases Nat's "can-get-down-and-sing-tear-jerker-C&W", very underappreciated song and a part of them they should do more of (or like)
Tomb of the Unknown Love, Kenny Rogers (80s or 90s). Fabulous C&W tune
She Couldn't Change Me, Montgomery Gentry
Fearless, Cindi Lauper
The Great Pretender, by Freddie Mercury of Queen fame (his version of this classic is just splendid and by far the best version done)
Enough for now? I thought so...
Democracy is screwed up because while agreement and compromise make the world better, bitter rivalry is just more fun.
Just to be clear, a Bush supporter complaining that Obama is a 'bad President' is like gargling skunk piss while complaining the dog has farted. --TopsyTurvy

Goodbye horses by that one group.
The more I listen the "catcherier" this one becomes.
2 from The Poor's debut CD Who Cares, 1994. Sadly, they disbanded after this superb debut and when the reunited in the mid-2000s, it wasn't the same. Check that CD out on Amazon. It's rock-n-roll the hard, old stye. Great stuff.
Poison (I shall chunk in another from this group that COULD have been really good):
Quiet Riot's version in 1999 of Highway to Hell.
Follow up to Ill Rember You, Skid Row, called I'll Remember You Two
Actually late 70,s Sammy Hagar.
I'm on a roll, like it or lump it.
i could add to this thread all day.
The Longest Day, Iron Maiden, one of their best and underappreciated songs.
Not obscure, but a great C and W song.
