yes, I put up ava maria on one of my Hubs a few months ago and then suddenly I started noticing everyone putting it up everywhere after. it seems to be well loved and increasingly popular and I'm glad you like it too. It would be hard not to, I think. It's a heartbreakingly beautiful song.

Hail Mary is the translation, of course. It's nice to know so many people honor Our Mother.

siv, loving that accoustic live of 'it's been awhile'. on the caillat, I didn't know her and it's almost cross-over country-pop. but I liked it and a great vid, love the ocean and the coast anyway. sierra noble: oh, that's great. in my fav genre trad-punk there is a history of women being the fiddle players to that is what I am reminded of, good connotations. a good find! thank you~

ha, grand I loved this! the visuals and choreography are amazing. I added it to my favs. The girl with the poofy hair and the fantastic costume is an astonishing dancer able to convey emotion in an amazing way.

loving the emmylou, love her anyway and an excellent song. and I love the entire soundtrack from "Cold Mountain". I really should buy that. I'm going to add it to my want list. I'm so cheap, usually I just buy a movie I like, put it in and don't watch it, just listen to the music. hehe

zombie by the cranberries is intensely personal to me, I love that song and moreso that video. it's about (for those reading) sociology and life's inequities, the damage done by vicious others that wounds so completely and last and most important that last hope and refuge for those damaged by violence and apathy, peace and love. beauty can rise from any kind of ugly circumstances. I am living proof of that. but those suffering it need to remember to hope and to dream.

in my experience for DA, the good here is so extraordinary and so wonderful it has always outweighed the bad and by far.
