lol, up to now I'm managed to skillfully avoid avril, couldn't name one song she did, but I liked that. I think I avoided instinctively just because when she got 'hot' it was sudden and everyone raved on about her and with me, there is just something about liking the common that throws me off initially, music or movies. I bet you understand. hehe.

but she's good and I liked the song. thanks.

I didn't know the second one by Sting either, just some of his stuff I know, but I really really liked it, semi-political overtones is a plus. plus the ribbon dancing is nice and another plus, they used to have some event for that olympics.

the enhanced black and white was a nice touch and went well with the overall theme of the lyrics. great find.

I can somewhat relate to that I've already pre-ordered Avril's fourth album Glad you enjoyed them both

checked your link, yes that is it exactly! I'm not huge on the Olympics because my mom was and I had to sit through a lot of sports, but I always loved this event and most of the gymnastics generally.

SirVulk, you outdid yourself. The first one, the Bulagarian team was fantastic and then when I got to Simona Peycheva, the first thing and I caught it right away was the overture for Jesus Christ Superstar rock opera which movie is a perpetual fav and what she did with it was extraordinary from her first movement.

If I get reborn as anything, I wish it could be one of these young ladies or ... maybe that baader-meinhof politico girl from 'munich'.

But I digress. Thank you very much!

You're most welcome.. I'm bias towards Peycheva, but i think she's one of the best ever.

What is your favourite piece from Jesus Christ Superstar? Mine is "This Jesus Must Die" I own the VHS but it's something I should get on DVD

I taped it from the tv and watch it from time to time. I have a lot of favs because that whole soundtrack ruled but my top two are:

    Could we start again, please?

this one was in the movie but not the CD and it has Yvonne Elliman whose voice is so lovely.

    and:

    Judas Death

it's just so emotional with the despair and the loss. that was Bob Bingham.

and have to say Pilate's Dream too.

The most insane war in history was the American Revolution. It was a basically a civil war and those British fluckers were starving by the time they arrived on the filthy shores of America in their attempt to get the dumbass "Americans" (retarded British and Dutch folks) to pay a couple cents in tea taxes. Now we pay a LOT MORE than tea taxes!
