Pahu takes the typical cold-call sales approach. Their primary motto is - don't waste time on the rotten apples. Because we are capable of independent and critical thought, we are rotten apples to him... so he ignores us and continues to dangle his bait in wait of gullible fish.

We might be sharks. But there is another way of looking at this. Pahu's mind set might not be one that cares about criticism, or attracting thousands of believers. More like a spider, he might simply want to catch one or two flies, here and there - and exercising dominion over their weak minds is enough to satisfy him.

That would make us kids poking his web with a stick. We see the trap, and we toy with it. He can't eat us, we're too big... so he scuttles away and waits for real prey.

also, on pahu's psychology: i also think doing this makes him feel smart. it makes him feel like he's doing mr. brown's work, so that he feels closer to (or even part of) his hero. he's on a mission from god.

Haha! Almost forgot to come back after following your link.
You may be right about Pahu - he may not be smart enough to hold his own in a debate, or smart enough to realize that the material is fraudulent (even when it is pointed out to him). Then it would make sense that cutting and pasting Brown's work might help him feel smarter.
