Squid Roe seems to be a much younger crowd at least it was the last time I was there. It was annoying because the jello shot girl would not leave people alone - I think that's why I don't like it as much. Cabo Wabo cracks me up, it's always a different scene but you see the same regulars during the week you're there.

I've heard of someone who, after sleeping with a girl on a one night stand to get rid of her said.

"Did I tell you my Grandma died in this bed"

    She left sharpish.

my best line ever (and i can't believe it worked) was when i was in a bar and i was being funny with friends and this girl looked at me. i looked back with a very angry stare and then she GAVE ME THE FINGER! so i walk over there and said "if you ever have a big mouth like that to me again i'll break your legs". she laughed, some other guy talked to her and then i said "look, did i apologize yet?" she: "no", me: "good!".
later that night we made out! (and, just to brag, she was very hot)

here are some for the wall of shame:

"if you were a McDonalds burger you would be a McGorgeous"

"How can I know so many hundreds of digits of pi and not the 7 digits of your phone number?"

"I'm not being obtuse, but you're acute girl."

"If you and I were squirrels, could I bust a nut in your hole?"

"Hey, here's the word for the day: legs. Whatdya say we go upstairs and spread the word?!"

"Have you run into any trees lately? Then how bout a root!"

in my books calling someone a mcdonalds burger (even metaphorically and hypothetically speaking) is also implying that they are full of animal feces which wouldn't be as bad if the nutrition of the animals was close to being what it really should be.

I don't think so. I was the one who banned GFB.

Granted, a lot of things I've done have been blamed on Siv, so I wouldn't stake my life on it not being him.

If by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties — someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."

Siv has his...detractors. Sometimes this makes him an unintentional scapegoat when I lock a thread or ban a user. The same way people used to blame me for things when it was one of the other mods or admins a couple years back.

Some folk automatically attribute anything they don't like to people they don't like.

Yeah, I got that. I'm just wondering why it was randomly inserted into this thread.

Ah, looks like the related posts were removed. There was a troll posting, no big deal.
