Why because he wasn't better more authentic pizza? C'mon Snouter he's from PA, he doesn't have the deliciousness that having the highest amount of Italians in the USA delivers to CT. He can't run to Sally's or Pepe's or even Captains for a decent pie. I've had pizza in PA. It's OK but not as good as ours. Can't fault DngrMse for wanting better. Of course I assume DngrMse is just talking about a platter that goes in the oven to give the pizza a brick oven baked taste and not just a big dish to make it look pretty.

Everybody including hubby was out so I treated myself to Subway. Had a nice turkey breast on 9 grain loaded with vegetables,baked potato chips and a skinny cow for dessert.
