You also can't silence a magnum. You can either have a silenced pistol, or a magnum. The only way to have ann effective silencer is to use sub-sonic ammunition. Which, is obviously mutually exclusive with magnum ammunition.Thanks - wasn't sure what it was. One has never used a silencer; nor does one know much about them.

The rifles are fun (I've only played with 22's) but man I love that 12 gauge shot gun!
Unfortunately I don't have any hand guns, although I would love one. My mom used to let me shoot her small handgun when I was growing up (not sure what it was exactly). NJ hand gun laws are just way too tricky though...
