I posted Hot Chocolate Emaline because when I was a kid and listened to it I totally hated the song. I made fun of it and stuff.
Now when I heard it I realized that it was actually a pretty solid song. Really sad and hearfealt lyrics and a really solid base line.

For me it hit in '77 when I first heard "God Save the Queen" by The Sex Pistols.
I was not into the punk lifestyle(no safety pins for me) but I loved the music, because manistream rock by that that time had gotten boring and I was too young to br living stricitly on oldies.

I reached that "magic age" in the early 70s,which were still the 60s in a cultural sense.
Some say the 60s as a culture began when JFK was killed in 1963 and ended when Richard Nixon resigned in 1974.
