oh btw, North Coast Brother Thelonious is the prettiest beer I have ever poured. Absolutely awesome head. really fluffy 2-finger head and it lingered for a looooooooong time. it stayed and ended up on the bottom of the glass and left it's mark all the way down. Hell, just opening the bottle created head that billowed over the top of the bottle. Absolutely awesome. next bottle will be with betty in about a week and I will take a picture of it.

    What kind of glass?

I only have pint glasses, one snifter, and some pilsner glasses. I sent my wife a list of glassware I want and BONUS if the glass comes with beer (i.e. a Chimay goblet in a Chimay three pack).

ok, well, considering how ****ing hard it seems to be to find decent bar glassware without buying a shit ton of it all at once, I decided to go straight to one of the major manufacturers....Libbey. they have a small section on their website where you can buy them 4 at a time instead of cases of 12 or more. they come to about $3/ea for Snifters. I don't want anything special. I just want them to be made of clear glass and nothing fancy. fancy glasses turn beer gay.

there is. brewer's best makes an "amber cervesa" style kit. also, you can usually put a kit together based on internet recipes.

I haven't, but a friend of mine during his stoopid college days made it nearly a week if I remember right, trying to prove his "Man CAN live on beer alone!" theory. Had no nutritional input other than beer and vitamin pills.

I seem to recall him saying some rather disturbing things about how his digestive tract started reacting after a few days...

    I picked up the following....

Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale http://www.rogue.com/beers/double-deadguy.php
Rogue XS: Imperial India Pale Ale http://www.rogue.com/beers/imperial-india-pale-ale.php
    Unibroue Éphémère (Apple) http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22/3523
    Lost Abbey: Inferno http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/18149/42491
    North Coast Brother Thelonious http://www.northcoastbrewing.com/bee...Thelonious.htm

I think that's all of them. I meant to get a Mr Beer but I was in a hurry and forgot. I didn't hit everything on my list beer wise (they didn't have it all) but I think I did pretty good. I got what they had that was on the list.

good pics, EE. I'm a big fan of the ephemere, but if given my choices, I'd rather have delirium any day.

if by Delirium you are referng to the same thing I am thinking of (comes in a white bottle with a creepy ass heffalump on it) I almost did. it was a tough decision. I had never seen their stuff at bevmo before and I literally walked back and fourth between the two of them like 6 times.

I am, delirium makes three beers, Tremens (golden ale), Nocturnum (dark ale) and Noel (xmas beer). All three are fabulous, plus the fact that the bottle has pink elephants on it makes me smile every time. They're all worth the purchase, although, for your taste, may want to try the nocturnum if you can find it.

I have seen the Delirium beers in a couple of stores but have yet to try them. If they get the Saison stamp of a prroval, they must be good.

I picked up a sixer of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale last night. Holy cow is that a tasty IPA.
