No, just ready for the weekend. I just stopped by Beer*Mart and picked up two sixers of Nugget Nectar.

That Nugget Nectar is hard to find around here. Troegs doesn't distribute in CT, so I need to hit up the MA beer store during work hours. Plus, Nugget Nectar only comes out once a year in limited quantities. When I see it on the shelf, I practically lunge at it. "MINE!"

It's a staple at beerfests around these parts. How's your homebrew coming along?

Nothing brewing at the moment. I bottled a farmhouse ale a few weeks ago. It needs another month or two to bottle condition, though I sampled a bottle last weekend and it's quite good.

I typically refer to the style as "farmhouse ale." I don't know why...probably because the average beer drinker would at least recognize it as a beer with the word "ale" used, and would have no idea wtf I was talking about if I said "saison."

    One of my favorite styles.

    1) Double IPA
    2) Tripel
    3) Farmhouse ale
    4) Barleywine
    5) Stout

That's pretty awesome I would love to look at the recipe whenever you have a chance!!

Our drinking patterns seem to be strangely in sync.

Cuervo Gold mixed with a bit of triple sec and lime juice.

    Great minds...

I like tequila on nights I don't feel like having several beers for the same effect.

    This afternoon's beer store haul:

    Sixer of Lagunita Maximus
22oz bottle of Smuttynose Barleywine (never had this one)
750ml bottle of Sierra Nevada Sierra 30 Stout (new!)

Can't say I've had any of those. Please review and report back.

I'm heading over to have drinks after work with a fellow "Sweet Lady Beer." We're hoping that the restaurant still has the new Delaware brewery on tap. (So new I don't even know the name!) Will have results to follow.

I've had it at festivals. Although, to be fair, most of what I have at beer festivals sort of blurs together. It was enjoyable, IIRC.

You lived in Hawaii for a while, right Buggy?
