they had all three there yesterday. I was so close to getting one of them. I almost got the Rogue XS Imperial Porter instead of the IPA. the Rogue XS Imp Porter and the Delirium and Nocturnum are on my list for my next trip.

I love the description on the back of the Lost Abbey Inferno Ale bottle.

Corruption, Greed, and Lust. They're all represented on the hooks of today. Tomorrow, they'll be stinging Gluttony, Desire, and Sloth. Go ahead. Tell yourself you're better than all of them. But you can't. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it's all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don't care who you sliced, diced, or cheated. No on is escaping this heinous place. Your roommate is an ax murderer. Eerily, he's not threatening. How can he be? Here, the Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It's already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life. At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

I picked up a sixer of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale last night. Holy cow is that a tasty IPA.
Delirium is one of my all time favorite beers. I'm a huge fan of the Sierra Nevada Celebration ale. We go to a local place that has their porter on tap which is so freakin' awesome. Highly recommend that one as well.

The Younger is #1 on my list of beers I want to try. With any luck, I'll be going to San Fran for a week next September and I will hunt for it then, seeing how it's not available here in the East.

I drank the beer and about 35 minutes or so later I felt really sick. started sweating. got nauseated ran to the nearest toilet and upchucked. then I laid in bed all day. worst beer experience of my life. remember the episode of King of the Hill with the tainted Alamo beer? it's kinda like that.

wonder what caused it. beer germies can't make you sick. maybe the bottle wasn't rinsed correctly or something. sorry to hear that, though. being sick is never fun. this sounds like hell on wheels.

I wasn't happy about it. needless to say, I never touched it again and that was about 4 years ago.

We went here while I was visiting my mom last week. Awesome place. Highly recommend their chowdah.

    All the beers were great.
Here's what we had on tap. Plus their cask conditioned ale was a pale ale brewed with home grown hops. So awesome.
    Volstead '33--4.7%

This is the one beer we have available year round. It is also the only beer designed to be close to the mass marketed beers out there. It is a light golden ale. It is clean, refreshing and sprightly carbonated. Made almost entirely with 2-row pale malt, it is hopped with imported Hallertau. back to top

    Golden Perch IPA--6.3%

Full of luscious hops from start to finish. A firm malt body backs it up. Breathe deep and let the hops dance through your head. Then drink your fill.

    Old Dunstable Amber--5.4%

A seemlessly balanced brew with just enough malt and hops for every palate. It is very easy drinking and down to earth.

    PumpkinWeizen--5.2%

Pumpkin and German style wheat beer meet for a new fall classic. Lightly spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. Fresh and inviting and lovely.

    Apathy's Reward--8.1%

A hodgepodge of malts and hops made on the spot on brewday, and then left to its own devices. Very very tasty for little effort and will!

    MacLeod's Scotch Ale--8.7%

Full bodied and full of caramelized malt. Rich and smooth with a touch of scorched grain and sweet alcohol. Hides its potency dangerously well. Sip and enjoy this glass of heaven.

    Dark Rosaleen Stout--5.5%

Don't be afraid of the dark. Smooth beyond belief with a creamy head that sticks around for the whole pint. Poured through a 'nitro' tap like its more famous Irish cousin. This one adds American flair to the taste and doesn't let go.

the apathy's reward is right up your alley. The food was awesome. If you're ever up that way, I highly recommend it. It wasn't that far from the Manchester airport which I flew out of instead of going into boston.

Interesting. Seems to be a love it or hate it brew based on the reviews that I have read. but there aren't many reviews. doesn't look like it is available in bottles either. something tells me that one day I will have to visit this place that they call New Hampshire.
