I am getting a new laptop and have always had a desktop unit connected to the net. How hard is it to connect a lap top?? Never had a laptop before and I was not here when centurylink connected my current desktop to the wireless router.

Which one is the best. I used both windows. No doubt about it that windows 8 has many amazing features than windows 7 but my experience and other windows user says that windows 8 work slow and windows 7 works very fast. Whats your opinion?

Actual Tools has a free download for putting a window always on top. Great for copying stuff to notepad.
