HELP!!!
I have next to no money but would like to try and have some sort of normal semblance of Christmas.
Anyone out there have any suggestions on what I can get my husband for not much money?

It all depends on your husbands interests.
There are lots of cheap presents but the best ones come from the heart.

He's into running right now, and I plan to get him some winter running gear. He's also into photography, The Grateful Dead, and the Survivorman and Everest shows :p

TGD, you say? This might be up his alley then.

The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, The Band, Buddy Guy, and others lived (and partied) together for five days, stopping in major cities along the way to play live concerts.

Well in that case you can go to a discount bookstoore (half-priced books and the like) and get him a book on photography, those types of stores also carry older albums as well so there is another one.
Also a cheaper mp3 player might be nice if he like to listen to music while he runs. I have seen them online.

All the above I have bought from and are reliable and trustworthy places to buy from.

Being into Photography opens up a whole can of ideas. Way to much is emphasis is put on "physical" gifts. Is there a park, or someplace unique near where you live? Take him on a Photo Shoot. Pack a pic-a-nic-a basket, clear your schedule and take him someplace for a day of relaxation and picture taking. Carry his gear for him, be his assistant, have some food ready. Don't let him have a concern in the world but finding that right shot.
Go on Ebay, find a signed album or something from his favorite group. You'd be suprised how cheap some of this stuff is.
If he likes to run, get some nice sock. and I mean NICE sox. Those $10 a pair kind that feel sooooo good.
What ever you do, make it something that is "him". It doesn't have to be expensive, but if it show's you put alot of thought, alot of consideration into it, then it will make a nice gift. I've told my wife and everyone else in my family, if it get's to the point that your going to buy me a gift card, or put money in a card, then I don't want anything. Nothing. Gifts, to me, are the physical expression of someone's emotional attachment to you. If all I am to you is a gift card or a $20 bill, then I don't want it. I'd rather you just not think of me at all. Oh well, that's just me.

Dsve, I love the idea of the Photo Shoot. What a cool gift that would be, especially since they can share it. What a soft, tender heart you have for such a big tough guy. ;)
