The last few years we have not decorated at all, just added the money involved to the gifts we wanted to give- instead of wasting it on decoration. This year will be much the same. I grew up with lots of decorations and lights and such...just no magic in it anymore.

It looks like the holiday section threw up in my living room. LOL I went crazy this year b/c of A's first Christmas.
Of course the punchline is he won't remember any of it HAHA!

No presents, no decorations, nothing.
Dec. 25th might as well be June 25th for me.

Growing up we used to decorate teh week of the 20th and it would piss me off!
Now, I am an adult and I normally don't do much better :p
Depending on the year we do a tree - and I have accumulated some good deocrations over the years. I am planning on doing some this week while I'm off and hubby is at work to surprise him :)

I used to go all out decorating. I just don't see the point anymore. It's just crap you have to take back down & put away.

I like to decorate by playing The Carpenters' Holiday Collection, drinking an appropriately festive wine, wearing a suitable pair of flannel jammies, with a roaring fire in the fireplace.
