Hmm I wonder how Aussie Christmas is different than the US... does Santa still wear a red coat etc to keep warm? Do they still decorate the evergreen in summer?

You know what's funny, I clicked on this thread with the intention of saying something along the lines of, "because it's hot as balls down there? Silly Australian." You beat me to it. :|

See you in a month and a half!

An evergreen tree is a tree that doesn't lose it's leaves in winter. Because of that, it is sometimes used to mean a Christmas tree (because christmas is in winter; except for those weirdos in Oz).

I've seen Aussie postcards of a Surfin' Santa. Those are funny.
