So, where have I been you may ask. What have I been doing? Work, work, work. It seems like just when I think I cannot get busier or I cannot get more things on my plate, things get ramped up a notch. John and Khanh are busier than ever on the financial side of things and I am busier than ever with projects, new properties, switch overs, and my traditional tasks. Overall, work has been great. I've been working crazy hours but I've not gotten that horribly frustration or wanderlust that seems to get me every few months, especially when things get to be really intense. I think it is the continued and constant increase in responsibility and job satisfaction that play a role, the other may be comfort, I worry about that, but who knows.

The company has undergone a lot of change recently with 2 principles stepping down, one moving departments and a new head of finance account and a new VP of Human Resources. Both of the women are really great and I think their additions point to a lot of very positive changes for the company and how the company interacts with the Technology group.

I still have some fears about 'what next' or where I go from here. I eventually and sooner than later want more of a managerial/directoral job than I do now, will there be a space at CIM for me to do that or will I need to move on? Will the company allow me to continue to grow with them or will that stop at some point.

I have a year review coming up. I can't believe its been a year / only been a year since the last one. We're a bit late, but who's counting. I am hoping to flesh out a lot of these questions then, as well as drive away with a truck full of money, but we'll see.

Overall, works' been great, I am just doing too much of it and too much of it I feel is dependent upon my availability and work...but again, we'll see.

I can't believe you are out of college. Seems like just last year, you were starting!

I know man, time flies. Its pretty insane to think where we both were when "we met." Though, I don't think we knew one another my freshman year, we started talking I think when I was working for the Anesthesiology department.

A lot of businesses have this problem though-one or two guys only can handle certains types of problems-we call that a "bottleneck"-it can kill a growing company-you need to resolve the bottlenecks and reward the people taking up the slack while youre working it out-and a lot of today's executives arent smart enough to get it...Good luck,Manu...
