So stoked, can not ****ing wait.

Unfortunately it means missing out on the 9th Annual Punk Rock Bowling tournament, my favorite weekend of the year, but Koalas and Hobbits are more important.

Oh Jed, honey, that sounds like such fun! Is this something for work or just a vacation? Can I go? I'm bendy; I'd fit in a suitcase. :D

It's a desperately needed vacation. A good friend of mine's dad is a doctor who's patient is an employee of princess cruise lines so we're getting the family/friend rate of a 12 day cruise for $600 (food and everything included). I generally like to explore foreign countries on my own terms, but the price can't be beat. We're only going to do one (maybe two) of their organized touristy excursions and the rest we're going to go exploring on our own.

You can both come. It's a nudest cruise though, so you're not allowed to bring clothes. (But only for you two :| )

Packs nothing but an ankle bracelet and a toothbrush. I am so there! And really, you can still try to stuff me in a suitcase. It'll be fun. I'm very flexible.:D

I may or may not have time in Aukland. Hopefully we'll be flying in a day before we leave on the cruise so we'll have time to explore Aukland. If we have time, a local guide would be awesome.

Visiting NZ and spending no time in its only real city would be silly.

I know. Unfortunately I don't really have a hand in the timing of the trip, I'm just along for the ride. Like I said, I normally wouldn't do a vacation this way, but it's so cheap I'm goin for it.
